Miraculous Medal with Roses Necklace in chain

This piece is my own and it graces the Tota Pulchra header.
This is very similar to the header necklace except it is sterling silver using lavender gemstones.
This piece was commissioned by a friend who had worn out a loved necklace that had interesting focal pieces to the side with little dangles ~ she wanted something similar but this time a religous piece.

The filigree madonna rosary center, with lots of swarovski crytals in marian colours.
This interesting medal is a paraman, if you have never heard or seen one before, I'll quote a description:"The word paraman originally and strictly referred to a monastic "scapular" in the Byzantine Church. It was rectangular and made of cloth and only worn by monks. The sole motive on the paramans was a depiction of the cross. The paraman pictured is a modern version of the old type of monastic scapular where the motives are more varied (Jesus, Mary, the Cross) and they are "pressed' into the leather."I have a dear friend in Australia that sells this Marian paraman here and a Jesus paraman here.
I have a necklace made up using each of these images, they are really beautiful...
This beautiful long necklace was meant to be a $20 secret santa gift!! LOL! I don't do ANYTHING by halves! I stopped when it was worth triple it's price! It originally had a dragonfly on the main bead (as you will see further down) but here it is with a Eucharistic medal.
